We are planning to form a delegation of manufacturing oriented value professionals to attend the Society of Japanese Value Engineering Conference (SJVE) in Tokyo on November 6th and 7th. There will be a maximum cut-off of ten people to participate in this trip. The trip will also include visits to manufacturing companies before the conference. This will be an excellent opportunity to see first hand how the Japanese apply target costing and value engineering. In addition to your personal travel expenses there will be shared costs; i.e. transportation, interpreter and gifts. Jim Rains has volunteered to coordinate this effort. For additional information please contact Jim directly at rains_ja@msn.com"
