Conference Invitations
If you require a written invitation to attend the conference to secure a travel visa to visit the USA, then please inform the SAVE International business office (info@value-eng.org) at the earliest opportunity. Requests for invitations should include the person’s full name, gender, birth date, complete postal address, telephone number, and email address. Specify if a digital letter is sufficient or if a hard copy is required.
Visit Orlando: Things to See & Do
Visit Orlando created a remarkable site just for SAVE International promoting the Orlando area: http://save.orlandomeetinginfo.com/. Click on any menu option under “What to See & Do” and the search engine will help you find specific restaurants, attractions, entertainment, etc. The site is available in English, German, and Japanese.
Hotel Information
 The 2012 Annual Conference will take place at the Renaissance® Orlando at Seaworld®. SAVE International has negotiated discounted, single room rates of $159 per night. U.S. government employees may claim a per diem rate of $102 per night. Government identification will be required to receive the government per diem rate. All room rates are subject to applicable state and local taxes in effect at the time of check-in.
All hotel room reservations at the Renaissance® Orlando at Seaworld® will be performed via the online reservation system powered by Passkey. All reservations will be made, modified, or canceled by individuals through the Passkey system or with the hotel directly.
The group rate of $159 per night is available only through Friday, May 11, 2012.

The Renaissance® Orlando at Seaworld® accepts government per diem reservations only from active U.S. government employees. Follow the link to reserve your room online at the GOVERNMENT PER DIEM rate. Attendees must present valid government employee identification upon arrival at the hotel to claim this discounted rate. Quantities of government per diem rate rooms are limited.
Conference Theme Contest Winner
The winning 2012 conference theme contest entry was “Come to Orlando, Where the Sun Shines on Value,” submitted by Daryl N. Atchley, RA, AVS. Atchley is a value engineer with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in St. Louis, Missouri.
Shuttle Transportation
Mears Transportation is the airport shuttle provider for Orlando and can also take care of your transportation needs throughout your visit. You can schedule a pick-up location and pre-pay for your arrangements on this site. Airport transportation to/from the Renaissance at SeaWorld on their shuttles is $19 per person one way or $30 round trip. In addition to shuttles, Mears provides taxis, charter buses, towncars, and other luxury vehicles to accommodate your transportation needs.
